I COMPLETELY agree with Brent and his take. Chan is, and always has been, a gutless, cop-rumpswabbing weasel. And he DOESN'T approve comments on his blog that are in any way controversial, or that question the awesomeness of the Gilford bureaucracy... especially the cops. (or that, apparently, come from a certain IP address)
I can just imagine the PC tingle that Markland got running up and down his leg at the prospect of demonstrating how wonderfully politically correct our crappy little town really is by hiring this outsider to maintain law and order. Just like everyone in town was gaga at the prospect of electing Gus Benevides-- NH's "first hispanic selectman." Until they discovered he was a (gasp) conservative!
