The self-proclaimed defender of all things government in Gilford, Dale Dormody, is questioning whether the budget committee chairman, Dick Hickok, should have been the one to speak to the recent meeting here of the Moultonborough Study Group. He is also asking whether or not both Skip and I used some "disclaimer" that we are not speaking on behalf of the budget committee. Let me spell this out for Dale:
I speak for Doug Lambert and Doug Lambert only. If I were to speak on behalf of some particular group, THEN I will say so.
It has been a long time since I met a person as intent on stifling somebody else's free speech rights as Mr. Dormody apparently is.
If he expects me to clam up, he'll have to shoot me, I guess. Otherwise, it ain't gonna happen!
