Responding to the "FFs"

In a letter found in today's Laconia Daily Sun, a Jeff Madon, apparently writing for "The Gilford Professional Firefighters", claims to be disturbed about
"looming salary and benefit cuts."
He then threatens that public safety will be adversely affected by
"those that are intent on slashing budgets and demeaning experienced fire department staff."
I think that if Mr. Madon were to review the tapes of the MBC meetings, he will find that nobody demeaned anybody--- unless one were to count what was said TO the MBC FROM the FFs and their supporters. As far as "slashing" budgets goes, really Mr. Madon... "slashing"? Pardon me while I catch my breath, after the hearty laughter that one brings!
.
Please sir, get your stories straight. If you did your homework, you might find that the issue of "civility" is one that best be left to rest, lest the townsfolk at large find out the truth about who's been civil, and who hasn't...
