Budget Committee Meeting Tonight!
There is a budget committee meeting this evening at 6:30 PM in the Town Hall.

Votes will be cast on preliminary approval of the so-called "outside agencies" budgets (i.e. Red Cross, New Beginnings, Genesis, Humane Society, etc.) and the library budget.

The fire department budget will be presented to the entire committee for review and discussion.

By reviewing budgets in detail, the committee's work provides a vehicle for the public at large to get a better understanding of the use of their tax dollars. I would encourage interested citizens to attend the meetings.
